HOW TO GET THERE

Provence

By Rail

The centre of Aix is 13 miles from Aix TGV train Station (with high-speed train, Aix is less than 3 hours from Paris!). Served by a shuttle bus (navette) that runs every 20 minutes.

From London connect from a Eurostar train in Lille, Paris or Avignon to a TGV headed for Aix and Marseilles. Total travel time is between 6 and 7 hour

By Car

Approximate driving times to Aix from the principal regional arrival points:

Aix TGV train station -> 0h20m
Avignon -> 1h00m
Marseille Airport -> 0h30m
Montpellier Airport -> 1h30m
Nimes Airport -> 1h00m
Nice -> 2h00m

Major car rental companies are available at all regional arrival points. Advance bookings are highly recommended

By Air

Aix is located about 20 miles from Marseille Provence Airport. A shuttle bus service (navette) operates between the airport and the city center every 20 minutes.

Ryan Air and EasyJet operate daily nonstop flights (2 hours) from London to Marseille. So do British Airways and Air France.

US and European transatlantic carriers offer connecting flights to Marseille and Lyons. Delta and Air France also offer direct flights from New York to Nice.
