Ryan Air and EasyJet operate daily nonstop flights (2 hours) from London to Marseille, Nimes, Montpellier and Lyons. British Airways and Air France also offer on-stop service from London to Marseille and Lyons.

US and European transatlantic carriers offer connecting flights to Marseille and Lyons. Delta and Air France also offer direct flights from New York to Nice.

Nonstop Eurostar trains from London reach Avignon in 6h15m.

High-speed TGV trains travel the 450 miles from Paris Gare de Lyon to Avignon in about 2h40m. Passengers arriving from overseas can take the TGV for Avignon (3h20m) at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (Roissy).
